Teams finishing Playoff Round 1
in the top eight spots in each pool level will return on Monday, Aug. 31st
(Pool A & B) and Tuesday, Sept. 1 (Pool C & D) for a true 8-team
double elimination championship round to determine the overall pool winners
for the 2009 season. This improvement, as requested
by the membership, dramatically reduces team wait times, extends the season
by one week for the top Mixed 6's finishers, provides more playoff games than
in previous years AND increases playing times in the championship rounds. Ladies and Men's 4's
6-team double elimination playoff rounds will conclude on Aug. 26 &
27. Playoff arrival times for all
teams will be communicated by each convener upon completion of the regular
season. |
