If you are 21 years of age or older and have a team, small group or just yourself to enter, come join our summer Adult Co-Ed Recreational Slo-Pitch softball league for some excellent fun, competition and camaraderie. As one of the most popular softball formats space in this program is very limited, so don't delay! All team, group and individual spots are allocated on a first come, first served basis upon receipt of registration payment until the league is sold out.

HOW TO REGISTER

STEP 1 - SUBMIT PAYMENT: See COST & PAYMENT section below for payment options and instructions. Full payment is required to secure your team, group or individual spot. HST is applicable to all registration fees.
STEP 2 - SUBMIT REGISTRATION FORM: Complete and sign the registration form, then mail it to the address shown on the form. Each form can accommodate up to eight players. For team registrations, a completed team registration form is not due until the pre-season league meeting in April, however full team, group or individual payment is required to guarantee your spot. All registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis until all team spots are taken or filled.

MIXED RECREATIONAL CO-ED SLO-PITCH FORM

COST & PAYMENT: The registration fees for this season is $2,095/Team Plus HST = $2,367.35 or $180/Player Plus HST = $203.40.

Please ensure that HST is included with cash, cheque or email money transfer payments. HST will be automatically added at check-out for on-line credit card payments. If paying by cheque, please make cheques payable to B.A.S.L. and mail or deliver to the B.A.S.L. address shown on the registration form. Your cancelled cheque is your confirmation and receipt. Current dated cheques only are accepted and individual or team spots cannot be held in advance without full payment. A $45 fee applies to all cheques returned NSF. Cancellation fees also apply and are indicated on all registration form.

GAME SCHEDULE & FORMAT: B.A.S.L. Adult Co-Ed Recreational Slo-Pitch plays every week on Sunday mornings at Burlington Class A baseball diamonds starting in May and ending with the final games in September. Game time is 9:00am and 10:30am weekly and all regular season games are targeted to be completed by noon each week to avoid interference with family time for the remainder of the day. All games are officiated by certified umpires and no games are played on holiday weekends.  Our end-of-season weekend playoff tournament is included each season.

INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEES:
• Double Header Sunday At Mid Season.
• Minimum Of One Regular Scheduled 7-Inning Game Per Week Per Team.
• Certified Umpires For All Regular Season, Tournament & Playoff Games.

• New Baseballs For All Games.
• Permits For All Regular Season Games, Tournaments & Playoffs.

SEASON ENDING PLAYOFF TOURNAMENT WEEKEND - 2024 date is September 14th Weekend, 9:00am to 4:00pm: Format is round robin followed by elimination rounds.

PLAYOFF PRIZES:
• $200 Registration Credit for The 2025 Season For The Playoff Champions.
• $100 Registration Credit for The 2025 Season For The Playoff Consolation Winners.
• Swag & Promotional Items For Championship & Consolation Teams.
• Playoff Champions Name Engraved On League Trophy.

EXCLUDED AND THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH TEAM TO PROVIDE:
• HST - Please Include with all Cheque, Cash Or Email Money Transfer Payments. HST will be Automatically Added for all On-line Credit Card Payments.
• Team Sponsorship and/or Sponsorship Funding.
• Team Jerseys, Uniforms, Gloves & Baseball Bats.
• First Aid Kit.

ROSTER SIZES, SUBSTITUTES & NON-REGISTERED PLAYERS: Team rosters must consist of no less than 14 players and no more than 20 players. ALL PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH B.A.S.L. AND MUST SIGN AND SUBMIT THE B.A.S.L. REGISTRATION FORM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS TERM WILL RESULT IN A GAME LOSS FOR EACH GAME PLAYED WITH A NON-REGISTERED PLAYER FOLLOWED BY LEAGUE EJECTION IF REPEATED AFTER INITIAL SANCTIONS.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Returning teams that have submitted non-refundable deposits have until March 31st, 12pm to pay the balance. After this date, all open spots will be allocated to new or returning teams on a first come, first served basis until sold out. Completed team registration forms are not required until the pre-season league meeting in April. Full payment is required to confirm all team spots.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Fees are non-refundable after May 1st. A cancellation fee of $45 per individual or 25% per team applies to all cancellations made prior to May 1st. A $45 fee will apply to all cheques returned from the bank marked NSF and these spots will only be re-confirmed upon receipt of full re-payment, including the NSF fee.
